This is *luciole's custom doll, Lilith the Enchantress. I fell in love with her when I saw *luciole put her up for auction. I would have boughten her myself except that a doll for $100+ is a bit out of my budget . Well, instead, I really wanted to take a shot at drawing her. I've been working on this picture since like January or so, on and off .
I'm very proud of how much improvement I have made in this picture. I feel this picture is heavily influenced by *luciole (of course) and *zeiva. You can't really see that clearly now, but I'm so thrilled that my line-art turned out so well. One reason that this picture was taking me so long was that I was so terrified of ruining the picture, because I loved it so much, so I would just keep stopping.
This is the Copic Markers version. This picture is intended to be done in watercolors, but since this is really my first watercolor picture, I decided I wanted to be safe and do a markers version as well. It's also my first time using actual paper for markers. I must say, marker paper is AWESOME!!! The paper doesn't soak up the ink as much, so less bleeding, but you can also blend so much more also. Since each has their own feel, I like a little bit and dislike a little bit of both. Hahaha.
Side note: I originally was going to have her sit on black roses. Now I'm so thankful to my friend Viet for suggesting the "window". If I had gone with my original idea, this picture would be so... black!
Omgggggggg I love this version best but the other is so beautiful too *_* In this pic she looks so sultry and sexy, just like how I imagined her to be! Her hair looks so silky too *_* I'm glad you like Lilith, I love her too *_* And at least we both know her owner is a very sweet person who will take care of her <3 Your watercolor is so amazing too *_*!! i gotta try watercoloring on marker paper too, it looks sooo good!

Yay! Luciole likes it... Thank you
I like the marker version better too... I still have a lot to learn with watercolors...
Actually I used watercolor paper for the watercolor one, and marker paper for the marker one
